LiveDaily Sessions: The Black Ghosts

The Black Ghosts [ ], a UK-based twosome formed in 2006, meld dance-based electronic music with a touchwood pop push. Consisting of Simon Lord and Theo Keating, erstwhile of Simian and The Wiseguys severally, the geminate met on-line and worked together remotely for months, creating nearly an album's worth of material earlier meeting in person for the first time.

The Black Ghosts released their first-class honours degree EP, "Anyway You Choose to Give It," in April 2007 to rabbit on reviews. A little more than a year afterwards in July 2008, the creative twosome dropped their long-awaited full-length debut in the US on the Iamsound label. The self-titled, 11-track magnetic disc includes the song "Repetition," featuring node vocals from Blur and Gorillaz mastermind Damon Albarn.
